Who are we?

Helmsley sports club provides and assists in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals in North Yorkshire who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life.

To-date, we have had over 250 bookings in 2025/26 that range from dance classes, yoga, Pilates, Rural Arts classes, training days, blind making, rehearsals for theatre productions, family celebrations, WI events, visiting sports teams, family sports, to our four sports clubs' use for post-match social gatherings.
